How I Create My Schedule

I block out time in my calendar for all the things I do every day - morning routine, workout, and writing. It runs through the year. They are the non-negotiables. My mind expects that I'll do them at a particular time of the day.

Then I have a small note on my desk where I make a list of every other thing I need to do that day. As I complete each task, I sign right next to the item and move on to the next.

I tried putting everything into my calendar but that just didn't work for me. Creating a schedule seemed like work on its own and I wasn't having it.

Pen and paper just does it!
